Definition of e-bikes and e-scooters

E-bikes and e-scooters are forms of electric-powered personal transport designed for short to medium journeys. Both use a rechargeable battery and an electric motor to assist movement. E-bikes resemble traditional bicycles but provide motor assistance when pedalling, while e-scooters are stand-up scooters with handlebars for steering.
